For aortic dissection survivors, health promotion can help them recover from the disease, which requires systematic program support. The aim of this study was to construct a health promotion program for aortic dissection survivors. Literature search, group discussion, and expert consultation were used. The Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change was the theoretical basis of the program. Multiple medical-related databases were searched. Based on a literature search and group discussion, 3 primary items, 8 secondary items, and 34 tertiary items were formed. After 2 rounds of expert consultation (number of experts = 25), 3 primary items, 16 secondary items, and 54 tertiary items were retained. The authority coefficients of the 2 rounds of experts were 0.890 and 0.905, respectively. The Kendall W coefficient of the 2 rounds were 0.210 to 0.370 (P < .05) and 0.221 to 0.378 (P < .05), respectively. The mean importance value and coefficient of variation of each item were >3.5 and <0.25, respectively. The health promotion program constructed in this study was reasonable and scientific, which could provide a reference for clinical work.

Recently, online education has become popular. Many e-learning platforms have been launched with various intelligent services aimed at improving the learning efficiency and effectiveness of learners. Graphs are used to describe the pairwise relations between entities, and the node embedding technique is the foundation of many intelligent services, which have received increasing attention from researchers. However, the graph in the intelligent education scenario has three noteworthy properties, namely, heterogeneity, evolution, and lopsidedness, which makes it challenging to implement ecumenical node embedding methods on it. In this article, an autobalanced multitask node embedding model is proposed, named MNE, and applied to the interaction graph, settling a few actual tasks in intelligent education. More specifically, MNE builds two purpose-built self-supervised node embedding learning tasks for heterogeneous evolutive graphs. Edge-specific reconstruction tasks are built according to the semantic information and properties of the heterogeneous edges, and an evolutive weight regression task is designed, aiding the model to perceive the evolution of learners' implicit cognitive states. Then, both aleatoric and epistemic uncertainty quantification techniques are introduced, achieving both task-and node-level weight estimation and instructing subtask autobalancing. Experimental results on real-world datasets indicate that the proposed model outperforms the state-of-the-art graph embedding methods on two assessment tasks and demonstrates the validity of the proposed multitask framework and subtask balancing mechanism. A method of using indirect fluorescence detection is evaluated for the analysis of glucosamine in commercial dietary supplements following chromatographic separation. In this method, the eluting analyte, glucosamine, was detected by monitoring an increase in the fluorescence signal for L-tryptophan (L-Trp) or DL-5-methoxytryptophan (5-MTP) after glucosamine complexed with a copper(II) ion and released either L-Trp or 5-MTP from a copper(II) complex, which is introduced postcolumn. The fluorescence of L-Trp and 5-MTP are quenched when complexed with the copper(II) ion. The results obtained using indirect fluorescence detection are compared with the results obtained for precolumn derivatization with phenylisothiocyanate. Statistical analysis is performed to compare the results obtained for the two postcolumn interaction components, Cu(L-Trp)2 and Cu(5-MTP)2, as well as the results obtained using the indirect fluorescence detection method and a precolumn derivatization method. The indirect fluorescence detection method provided an alternative to precolumn derivatization for determining the concentration of glucosamine in commercial dietary supplements. The stability of the glucosamine-o-phthalaldehyde-3-mercaptopropionic acid derivative is also evaluated to investigate the applicability of the popular precolumn derivatization reagent, o-phthalaldehyde-3-mercaptopropionic acid, for this analysis.

The use of copper radioisotopes in imaging and therapy has prompted an increased interest in chelators which form stable copper complexes, such as Cu(II)-azamacrocyclic complexes. The effects of charge, stability and the size of the macrocyclic backbone of the Cu(II)-azamacrocyclic complexes on biological behavior have been evaluated. Here we report a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method to separate several Cu(II)-azamacrocyclic complexes, including Cu(II) complexes of 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-1,4,8,11-tetraacetic acid (TETA), 4,11-bis(carboxymethyl)-1,4,8,11-tetraazabicyclo[6.6.2]hexadecane (CB-TE2A) and 4,10-bis(carboxymethyl)-1,4,7,10-tetraazabicyclo[5.5.2]tetradecane (CB-DO2A). Absorbance at 280 nm was used to monitor the complexes as they eluted from the reversed-phase column. The effects of the concentration of the buffer, the pH of the buffered mobile phase and the concentration of the organic modifier, methanol, on the separation were investigated. Separation of these copper complexes by ion-pair HPLC with the use of a mass spectrometry-compatible ion-pair reagent, triethylammonium acetate, in the mobile phase at pH 6.3 is also presented. The reversed-phase chromatographic conditions utilized also allow the pK(a)s of Cu-TETA and the log(k'w) values of Cu-CB-TE2A, Cu-TETA and Cu-CB-DO2A to be estimated.

A simple, indirect fluorescence detection method has been developed for detecting specific mono-amino sugars (D-glucosamine, D-galactosamine, D-mannosamine) following chromatographic separation. The eluting amino sugars release L-tryptophan (L-Trp) from a copper-tryptophan complex which is introduced postcolumn. Analyte detection is based on measuring the increase in L-Trp fluorescence, which is quenched when complexed with copper. Two tryptophan analogues, 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan (5-HTP) and DL-5-methoxytryptophan (5-MTP), were also evaluated as postcolumn reagents. 5-MTP was found to be a suitable alternative to L-Trp for the detection of these mono-amino sugars. Detection limits for D-glucosamine, D-galactosamine, and D-mannosamine are in the range of 0.15-0.30 nmol injected.
